NextGen Continuous Railing™ is used when the desired visual effect is to see a permanent railing system with a single post at each base, as opposed to a panel-type railing system, like NextGen 3000Universal Guardrail. All continuous railing appear the same from the ground, however the bases can be different depending on the type of roof. NextGen Continuous Railing™ uses either NextGen 3000 Universal Bases, standing seam bases, or corrugated roof bases. Continuous railing can also be wall mounted to a parapet or side wall. Standard finish is galvanized and powder coat is available in Custom Colors. All railing systems are OSHA compliant.

The advantages of using NextGen Continuous Railing as opposed to other railing systems include: 1) When looking up from the ground level, the railing system appears to be an integral part of the building structure. 2) The railing system can be mounted on flat, low sloped, corrugated, or standing seam roofs. It can also be mounted on the building side wall or on a roof parapet. 3) No roof penetrations are required using the clamping base or the corrugated roof mounting plate. 4) On roofs with a slight slope, a special base fitting can be used to orient the railing posts in the plumb position. 5) Practically any railing layout can be achieved incorporating turns, zig zags, and roof level changes.
