Continuous Railing for flat roofs uses the NextGen 3000™ 58 lb. clamping base which accommodates 1.66 OD or 1.9 OD posts and rails. Posts are inserted in the clamp at the top of the base and tightened using a socket wrench. These clamping bases make for a solid railing system with no play. The railing is completed by adding top and mid rails into the drop-in fittings. The top and mid rails are connected in series with a Type 14 coupling. Guardrail will arrive as 10' lengths of pipe to be connected via fittings provided. Some field cutting may be necessary during installation. Toe Boards / Kick Plates are also available. Railings are OSHA compliant with no roof penetrations.
The standard finish for rails and bases is galvanized with powder coating available in Custom Colors.
Note: Minimum 5 ft. returns are required at terminations to satisfy OSHA standards.
