NextGen Continuous Railing™ - Standing Seam
Description
Continuous Railing for standing seam roofs uses a special mounting plate as its base. A Type 62 flange fitting is mounted in the center of the plate to receive the railing post. The plate and fitting are then mounted to the standing seam using S-5 clamps. The railing system is completed by adding top and mid rails into the drop-in fittings. The top and mid rails are connected in series with a Type 14 coupling. The design can call for either 1.66 OD or 1.9 OD pipe. Guardrail will arrive as 10' lengths of pipe to be connected via fittings provided. Some field cutting may be necessary during installation.
The standard finish for rails and bases is galvanized with powder coating available in Custom Colors.
Note: Minimum 5 ft. returns are required at terminations to satisfy OSHA standards.
