NextGen Mighty-Lite™ Aluminum Railing
Description
The NextGen Mighty-Lite™ Aluminum Railing is a free-standing counterbalance roof edge fall protection system. Its components are manufactured from lightweight aluminum, stainless steel, and recycled PVC counterbalance weights providing a longer corrosion-free life vs. steel construction which is more susceptible to the elements. The system can be installed along the perimeter of the roof or around skylights which provides OSHA-compliant passive fall protection, eliminating the need for PPE. Mighty-lite exceeds OSHA 1910.29 requirements, along with other standards.
Features:
The system is free-standing with no roof penetration
Components are powder coated aluminum for sea air resistance
Counterbalance weights are designed with handles for easy installation
Can be installed on all flat roofs, parapets, steel decks and standing seam roofs
Upright posts can be Inclined to 30 degrees to become invisible from ground level
System can be wall or parapet mounted (no counterweights needed)
Posts can be cut on site for parapet mounting

Grey powder coated aluminum posts, and mid rails
Stainless steel hardware
Light resistant recycled PVC counterweights weighing 30 pounds each
Installation:
Posts and post bases are set into position according to drawings
PVC counterbalance weights are installed on assembled bases
Top and mid rails are installed on posts and adjusted for proper height
Shop drawings can be provided if needed
Note: 3 workers can install greater than 300 feet per day.
