Frequently Asked Questions

How is the Kee Guard® Corrugated Railing attached to ribbed or metal roof panels?

This railing system uses universal base plates with pre-drilled mounting holes designed to align directly with corrugated metal roof profiles.

Does installing this system on corrugated panels require roof penetration?

Yes, unlike the freestanding Kee Guard® Railing for flat roof, the corrugated base plates require approved fasteners driven directly into the metal deck.

What sealing steps are needed to keep the fastener attachment points watertight?

To ensure a watertight seal, apply approved roofing sealants or butyl tape to all fasteners. Always follow your specific roof manufacturer’s weatherproofing guidelines to maintain roof integrity.

Can this railing system adapt to different corrugation pitch distances?

Yes, the universal base plates and modular clamps are adjustable to fit varying ridge profiles and rib spacings.
