Description

Kee Guard^® Corrugated Railing is an OSHA-compliant roof edge fall protection system engineered for corrugated and ribbed metal roofs. Rather than relying on ballast weights, the system uses a universal, pre-drilled stainless steel mounting plate that fastens securely to the roof deck and is sealed according to the roofing manufacturer's recommendations. Kee Klamp^® base fittings mount to the plate, posts are inserted and secured with a set screw, and top and mid rails are then saddled between the posts to complete a continuous guardrail run.

Rails extend 42" above the walking surface and are engineered to withstand 200 lbs. of force applied to the top rail, exceeding OSHA Standard 1910.28(b)(13) and meeting Canadian fall protection requirements. The modular Kee Klamp^® fitting system adapts to varying roof angles, circular configurations, existing ladders, and rooftop obstructions, so the railing can follow the actual layout of the roof rather than a fixed straight run. Custom colors are available to match facility branding.

Installation:

Mounting plates are attached to the roof deck using rivet kit.

Kee Klamp^® base fittings are attached to each mounting plate.

Upright post assemblies are inserted into the base fittings.

Galvanized top and mid railings are saddled between posts.

Note: 3 workers can install approximately 300 LF of railing in a day.
