Kee Guard® Railing - Standing Seam
Description
Kee Guard® Standing Seam Railing is a non-penetrating roof edge fall protection system designed for standing seam metal roofs with a pitch of up to 45°. Rather than drilling into the panels, four S5U aluminum clamps bolt to a galvanized steel mounting plate and clamp directly onto the seam. A Kee Klamp® base fitting attaches to each mounting plate to support the upright posts, and top and mid rails are then saddled between the posts to complete a continuous guardrail run — all without piercing the roof.
Rails extend 42" above the walking surface and are engineered to withstand 200 lbs. of force applied to the top rail, complying with OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.23 and meeting Canadian fall protection requirements. The custom-fabricated base plates accommodate a wide range of seam widths, and the modular Kee Klamp® fitting system adapts to varying roof angles, circular configurations, existing ladders, and rooftop obstructions. Custom colors are available to match facility branding.
