Type 18 - Internal Coupling
Description
An internal spigot providing a flush joint between two pieces of pipe of the same diameter. Not as strong as the Type 14 fitting, the Type 18 fitting must not be used as a load bearing joint. Note: This fitting can only be used with schedule 40 pipe. Danger: The Type 18 fitting must not be used as a load bearing joint.
