Skylight Screen - Model SSS

The NextGen Standing Seam Skylight Safety-Screen™, Model SSS, provides an easily installed skylight cover in compliance with OSHA Code: 1910.28(b)(3)(i). The skylight fall protection system guards against injuries or death from accidental falls through the lens of the skylight.

The heavy metal 4 x 4 grid is bent to a semi-circle form and fastened to the roof seams using S-5 type clamps and two stainless steel straps. The bent skylight cover identifies the skylight location in case of snow on the rooftop.

Model SSS skylight guards are available in galvanized or stainless steel wire mesh. The screen can be special ordered with a design to withstand a 400 pound  load to comply with Cal-OSHA standards.
