Description
The NextGen Ladder Guardrail Corral™ is designed to create a protected transition zone that helps workers safely move from a fixed ladder or stairway onto the rooftop or elevated walking surface. At this transition point, employees are often exposed to unprotected roof edges, awkward footing, and changing elevations while carrying tools or equipment. By extending guardrails beyond the ladder opening and incorporating a self-closing safety gate, the system creates a clearly defined access area that helps reduce fall hazards while supporting OSHA compliance.
Adapts to Existing Ladder Systems
Every rooftop access point is different. The Ladder Guardrail Corral™ is designed with adjustable spanner brackets that accommodate a variety of ladder and stairway configurations. It clamps directly to fixed ladders, ship ladders, round ladder rails, flat bar systems, or angle iron systems, making it suitable for both new construction and retrofit installations.
Extends Protection Beyond the Ladder
Unlike simple ladder guards that stop at the ladder opening, the NextGen Ladder Guardrail Corral™ extends protection up to 15 ft. onto the roof or walking surface. This creates a controlled transition area where workers can safely step away from the ladder to regain balance before entering the work zone. Where ladder rails do not continue onto the roof, optional finishing rails complete the guardrail system.
