KeeGuard Corrugated Railing is an OSHA Compliant roof edge fall protection system that prevents workers and other personnel from falling off of the roof. This system utilizes a plate mounted, railing post system installed along the roof edge. The railings extend above the walking surface 42” and withstand a force of 200 pounds. Its configuration accommodates varying angles, circular configurations, ladders and rooftop obstructions. KeeGuard Standing Seam railing complies with OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1910.23 and meets North American and Canadian requirements.
OSHA Compliant design
Prefabricated 20” x 20” stainless steel pre-drilled mounting plates anchored thru the roof deck
Type 62 base fitting aligns perpendicular to the roof
Type 63 and 67 fittings enable posts to mount at angles
Type 69 fitting is used to mount a 4” toe plate
Posts, top and mid rail pipes are ASTM A53 1-1/2-inch schedule 40 galvanized steel
Fittings are Kee Klamp galvanized to ASTM A53 requirements
Mounting bases are stainless steel
Rivet kits for mounting bases are stainless steel
Finish for pipe, handrails, mid-rails, uprights and base plates are a galvanized to ASTM A53 requirements
Stainless steel plates are mounted to the roof deck using rivet kit
Kee Klamp base fittings are attached to base plate
Upright post assemblies are installed first
Galvanized top and mid railings are installed from post to post
Note: 3 workers can install approximately 300 linear feet of railing in a day.
