KeeGuard Skylight Railing System

Skylight railings create a barrier around the skylight to protect people from falling into and thru them. OSHA Standards (29 CFR 1910.23 and 29 CFR 1910.66 (a)(4)) require all skylights to be protected by compliant screens or railings.  To be OSHA compliant, skylight railings must pass a 200-pound load test for most of the USA and a 400-pound force for CAL OSHA Standards.

Skylight railings cost more than skylight screens however may be required when the skylights are too large or when screens are an unwanted sight below.

Skylight railing systems are either free-standing, mounted to the skylight counter flashing, mounted to the skylight frame, or designed to penetrate the roof and tie into the building structure.

Can be installed to be invisible from below.
