Kee Dome Skylight Railing System

KeeDome skylight railings create a barrier around skylights to protect people from falling into and thru them. OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1910.23 and 29 CFR 1910.66 (a)(4) require all skylights to be protected by compliant screens or railings.  To meet the OSHA Standards, KeeDome railings extend above the walking surface 42” and withstand a force of 200 pounds applied to the top rail.

Pipe for skylight railings is galvanized. All pipe connections are Kee Klamp structural pipe fittings manufactured to the requirements of ASTM A47-77-32510. Its railing bases are manufactured from recycled PVC. Bases are L shaped and weigh 20 pounds. They are placed on top of the roof surface and pinch against the skylight curb. KeeDome is a free-standing skylight railing system.

KeeDome railing system components are assembled using a hex key. Railing pipe is galvanized and pre-cut for exact fit.

Kee Dome is a free-standing fall protection solution for use around skylights, roof lights and dome lights.
